MCS Holdings has been very successful in the renovation of historical buildings into mixed use commercial properties.
From 2002-2004 MCS Holdings renovated a 4,000 sq ft mixed use commercial/residential building, into three condo units which were sold within three months of completion.
From 2004 to 2006 MCS Holdings renovated a two hundred year old building with a total of 16,000 sq ft. The building was converted into 6,000 sq ft of retail, 3,000 sq ft office space, and 7 condo units.
In 2005, Boulder Development, LLC. was established for the purpose of developing six parcels of land in Midtown Detroit. The land consisted of four condemned structures formally used as retail buildings, a hotel, and a car wash.
Between 2006 and 2007 the ruins of existing structures were demolished, with the exception of the front facades and replaced with new construction also the retail spaces were built and leased. In 2008 office leasing started with HHH Accounting Services.
In 2009 Mid Med Plaza signed leases with Bio Med, Dr Knight MD, East Michigan Environmental Action Council, and the Barbra Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. In 2010 Mid Med Plaza signed leases with Wayne State University.
In 2011Karmanos Cancer Institute finalized leasing all the remaining vacant space.
